Anet Sandra Açıkgöz
Sandra Açıkgöz is an interdisciplinary artist based in Istanbul. Açıkgöz works across various media, including installation, video, performance, and text. The artist's practice revolves around concepts such as collective memory and power relations. Re-examining connections that have been distorted, lost, or misrepresented in official historical narratives, the artist explores the blurred boundaries of dominant discourses that perpetuate their own forms of authority.
She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Sakarya University Faculty of Fine Arts. Her works have been exhibited at art venues such as KÖŞK (Munich, 2025) and ACCEA-Npak (Yerevan, 2025). She has also participated in events such as the Ars Electronica Festival (Linz, 2025), the International Short Film Festival organized by a-part (Istanbul, 2024), and the Mahalla Festival (Istanbul, 2022).
